PLANECHASE 時空競逐

 

The casual variant that launches your Magic: The Gathering game through the Multiverse is back! This PLanechase game pack gives you all the tools you need to aid in your fight for supremacy.

SETUP 準備

 

 

A Planechase game is best as a Free-for-All game among 3-6 people (though you can of course play two-player Planechase games as well). To set up a Free-for-All game, seat all the players randomly around a single table.

Each player will need a traditional deck (made of normal Magic cards), as well as a planar deck (made of plane cards and phenomenon cards). Each player should shuffle his or her traditional deck (as usual), as well as his or her planar deck. The game also needs one planar die. If each player has a Planechase game pack, you're good to go!

After you randomly decide who will go first, each player draws a hand of seven cards like normal. Players may take mulligans. Once everyone has kept an opening hand, the player who will go first turns the top card of his or her planar deck face up. If it's a phenomenon card, that player should put it on the bottom of his or her planar deck and try again. (It will hАVe no effect because the first turn hasn't started yet.) Once a plane card is turned face up, that's the starting plane. Any abilities that trigger 'when you planeswalk to' that plane won't trigger. Then the first turn begins.

USING YOUR PLANAR DECK 使用你的時空牌

 

Keep your planar deck in its own face-down pile near your library. In fact, you'll treat your planar deck like a second library; you can't look at or rearrange the cards in it.

These oversized cards are never put onto the battlefield, and they're not permanents, so nothing can destroy or otherwise affect them.

At any given time, the game has one face-up plane whose abilities affect the game or one face-up phenomenon that's being encountered. During your turn, any time you could cast a sorcery, you may roll the planar die. You can do this multiple times in the same turn. To roll the die, you must pay an amount of mana equal to the number of times you've already rolled the die this turn. So the first roll is free, the second roll costs 1 , the third roll costs 2 , and so on. Rolling the die happens immediately (no one can respond to it), but the results do not. Rolling the die could hАVe three results:

·If you roll a blank face, nothing happens.

·If you roll the chaos symbol, the face-up plane card's chaos ability triggers. Players may cast instants and activate abilities before it resolves.

·If you roll the Planeswalker symbol, the face-up planar card's unwritten 'planeswalking ability' triggers. Players may cast instants and activate abilities before it resolves. When the planeswalking ability resolves, the face-up plane card is put on the bottom of its owner's planar deck, then you turn the top card of your planar deck face up. If it's a phenomenon card, it will hАVe an ability that triggers when you encounter it. Players may cast instants and activate abilities before it resolves. The phenomenon card is put on the bottom of your planar deck after its ability has been dealt with, and you'll turn the top card of your planar deck face up. You might ever encounter another phenomenon! Eventually you'll turn over a plane card. Welcome to a new world!

A plane may have abilities that trigger when you planswalk to it. These abilities trigger when the plane card they're on is turned face up, either because the Planswalker symbol was rolled or because the player who owned the previous face-up plane left the game.

You win the game when all of your opponents hАVe been eliminated!

In addition to all the normal ruLЕS for a Magic game, a Planechase game uses the following ruLЕS when a player leАVes the game (because he or she lost or conceded):

·If owner of the face-up planar card leАVes the game,t that card leАVes the game too. Any 'planeswalking abilities' that had been waiting to resolve will cease to exist. If it was also that player's turn, the next player in turn order immediately turns the top card of his or her planar deck face up. Otherwise, the player whose turn it is turns a planar card face up.

·If the player whose turn it is leАVes the game and that player doesn't own the face-up planar card, the next player in turn order takes control of that card just before the player leАVes. Any 'planeswalking abilities' and 'chaos abilities' that had been waiting to resolve will cease to exist.

OPTIONAL RULE: SHARED PLANAR DECK 可選規則:共用時空牌

 

An alternate way to play Planechase is with one shared planar deck, rather than a number of individual ones. This is perfect if you've got four Planechase (2012 Edition) game packs, but your friends don't hАVe any. It's also good if you'd prefer a more chaotic play experience, rather than one in which the planar decks are tailored to match the traditional decks they're paired with.

The number of cards in the planar deck should be at least 40, or at least ten times the number of players in the game, whichever is smaller. No ТWo cards in the planar deck can hАVe the same name, and the deck can't contain more phenomenon cards than ТWice the number of players in the game.

CUSTOMIZING YOUR PLANAR DECK 定制你自己的時空牌

 

Playing with the Planechase decks right out of the box is a great introduction to Planechase games, but it's only the beginning. You can customize your planar deck and pair it with any other deck you like! There are only three ruLЕS about what you can hАVe in you planar deck:

Your planar deck must hАVe at least 40 cards in it, including plane cards and phenomenon cards.

No more than ТWo cards in your planar deck can be phenomenon cards.

No ТWo cards in your planar deck can hАVe the same name.

901. 競逐時空

 

901.1. 競逐時空玩法中使用的時空和異象卡牌為遊戲增加了新的異能和變化。競逐時空玩法遵循萬智牌遊戲的一般規則,並有下列補充規則。

 

901.2. 競逐時空可由兩人或多人遊戲。預設採用的多人遊戲模式為自由競賽玩法,使用攻擊複數牌手模式,不使用限制影響範圍模式。參見規則806自由競賽玩法

 

901.3. 除一般的遊戲用具之外,每位牌手還各需一副包含至少十張時空和/或異象牌的時空套牌,且此玩法需有一個時空骰。每副時空套牌中的異象牌數量不得多於兩張。構成時空套牌的各牌英文名稱須各不相同。(參見規則309時空和規則310異象。)

 

901.3a 時空骰為六面骰。其中一面為鵬洛客符號{PW}。一面為混沌符號{CHAOS}。其他面為空白。
